With all three communities’ home to rich iron ore deposits, Wabush Airport is a bustling airfield serving both the local community as well as a thriving charter network supporting several mining companies.
Wabush Airport is also a gateway to the Far North, a logical tech stop between Southern Ontario/Quebec and destinations such as Northern Labrador, Nunavut, or Greenland.
PAL Aviation Services operates 24/7, providing fuel to a variety of customers including commercial, private and emergency services. To ensure security of supply, the site maintains over 130,000 L of Jet A-1 storage capacity.
